Database View:
Maintenance status is either ready only or read and change if single table is used.
A database view is a general view
for one or more transparent tables. A view name can be up to 30 characters.
Join condition must be inner join
for the multiple tables.
Maintenance Status is read
only for multiple tables.Maintenance status is either ready only or read and change if single table is used.
Following example shows database
base view for single Table.
Go to Transaction SE11 , enter
the database view name YDV_SCARR_S and click on create button.
Select database view and press on continue button.
we are using single table for the database view therefore maintenance status can be ready
only or read and change.
Activate the database view.
Following example shows database
view with multiple tables.
Steps are same as above example except
join condition, further database view Maintenance status can be ready only. We cannot
see output using dictionary tool.
